Family BBQ 28th September 2013

We celebrated Dad's 88th birthday Friday night at the Kempton Hotel, lovely old pub with good old fashioned meals.  Saturday Christine organised a family BBQ lot's of fun with all the children.  Then to the Wrest Point Casino for dinner & of course just a little gamble before falling into bed around midnight!! Today (Sunday) we went to the Sorell Markets, Cambridge, Glenorchy, now home feeling rather tired!  Now for some packing ready for my flight home tomorrow.

Dunalley Mudunna Connollys Marsh Primrose Sands

We enjoyed a quiet morning while Merryn & Alden went to Hobart.  After lunch went for a drive through the towns that were devastated by the bush fires earlier this year, still gives an eerie feeling!

The Apple Shed 'Lollara' Huon

Oh the memories of when my best man Alden took me on a pub crawl the night before we were married. The next morning feeling very poorly I was out the front of this shed in the sun while Alden was busy packing apples and getting and earful from his lovely wife Merryn!!!!!!
