Canberra 30th May 2010

No venturing out today, the weather is miserable, raining, freezing & windy. We spent the day in doors, watched Angels & Demons, very good movie. Graham amused himself reading, no movies for him!

Canberra 28/29th May, 2010

Arrived in Canberra at 11.30am, picked up by the lovely bubbly Kate. David was home, technically working! we had a nice casual lunch and looked over the gardens before Kate arrived home from work. We all relaxed with a few drinks & much chatter. Today it is a miserable, rainy cold day. We are about to head off to a shopping centre looking for shoes for Graham (you all know how much he loves shops!) Not too much pain finding a suitable pair of shoes!!
This is David & Kate's house in Holder, in the southern suburbs. The end of the autumn leaves is still a beautiful sight.

1st March 2010 Mt. Tamborine Gold Coast Hinterland

We spent this special day at Mt. Tamborine with our very dear friends Marilyn & Adam. Where we had morning tea the street was named "Helens Way" Graham say's is'nt that always the way!! Ah, Ah to him too!!! Even though the weather was inclement most of the day, we visited the Tamborine Airwalk (this picture of us was taken there) but were unable to go on the walk, too wet! Then onto an old shed called the Nardoo Lavendar Shop, lovely place to explore & make some purchases of course! From here we went to St. Bernards Hotel for lunch and a walk through the lovely gardens where Graham (only he could) acquired some white dahlia bulbs from the gardener.
